I will mention here that since I began using Roxio 2010 I have never been able to use Create DVD. It will play perfectly on my computer dvd player. The dvd that I prepared will not play on my dvd player. It is for an older version but the basci information is the same. The disc must have specific naviagtion and file types. In order to play a DVD on an older player that does not have all the fancy stuff, it has to be authored to have the images and the videos in either slide shows or video files. What do you see/ A screen shot would be best. Put the disc in your computer dvd drive and use Windows explorer to view the files on it.
What DVD player do you have? What is your intent with the DVD.- only for you or will you be giving copies to others to play on their DVD player. You cannot simply dump files on a DVD and expect it to play unless you have a nwe DVD player that will play image discs and video file discs. Well it seems that you did not author a DVD that will play on your DVD player. Any help with this problem will be greatly appreciated. After creating a dvd of photos & video clips, the dvd will not play on any player other than my computer. Using Roxio Creator Special Edition 2010 and Windows7.
